The devastating news was first shared by Steve Manning, a close friend of the Jackson family, who informed Entertainment Tonight that Tito passed away on Monday, September 16th.

A Heartfelt Tribute from His Family: Tito's sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, paid an emotional tribute to their father on Instagram, expressing their grief and love. In their post, they shared:

A Legacy in Music: Born Toriyano Adaryll Jackson in 1953, Tito Jackson played a pivotal role in shaping the sound of the Jackson 5. Known for his guitar skills and backing vocals, he contributed to some of the group’s most iconic hits, including “ABC” and “I Want You Back.” Formed in 1964 under the guidance of their father, Joe Jackson, the group became a pop music sensation, dominating charts and captivating audiences worldwide.

He chose to focus on raising his three sons, who would later form their own group, 3T.
